DALFASTFamily Stories
Home, belonging and togetherness — the shapes of family life rather than portraits of it.
Curator's statement
Family Stories is about togetherness expressed as form rather than portraiture — shapes that lean into one another, a house shape holding warm light, a table, a doorway, hands implied but never drawn. Because it is abstract, it belongs to every family that hangs it, whatever that family looks like. The palette is domestic and warm. These are original contemporary compositions for hallways, living rooms and the walls people pass every day.
Design philosophy
Togetherness as abstract form, never portraiture — so every family sees itself. Warm, domestic, inclusive.
Colour system
Warm terracotta, honey, cream, soft green, dusty rose, deep brown.
Shape language
Leaning and nested forms, house and doorway shapes, gathered clusters, sheltering arcs.
Composition
Age-appropriate and universally suitable: no frightening imagery, no stereotypes, no brand or character likenesses, no text beyond simple educational lettering where the collection calls for it. Every composition original. Family is represented abstractly and inclusively — never as a specific family type.
Ideal spaces
Living rooms, hallways, family spaces, homes and family-focused venues.
Print formats
1:1, 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, A-series.
